The frequency response of the S-7B has a smooth, slightly dark top end and a deep low end. The internal EQ is more pronounced than the standard S-7’s, giving a very smooth, pleasantly round frequency response. The S-7B is a ribbon-like High SPL condenser mic that is super-mellow and ideal for trumpet, kick drums, and guitar cabs.
